Achievements

The Maximum Melodies attribute their success to the Almighty God because of the exposure God has given them and thus even enabling them scoop a number of Awards.

The first Award that the Maximum Melodies received was in year 2005 in the "GROOVE AWARDS" which recorgnizes and awards Kenyan Gospel industry at large where they were nominated and emerged to attain "THE BEST SONG WRITER OF THE YEAR 2005".

Secondly was "THE KISIMA AWARDS" which awards both secular and gospel artists in East Africa where the Maximum Melodies were previledged to be nominated and emerged as "THE MOST PROMISING GROUP OF THE YEAR 2005".

To crown it all was the nomination in the all Africa "KORA AWARDS" which is annually held in South Africa recognizing and awarding all general artists in Africa. The Maximum Melodies were nominated and won as "THE BEST SPIRITUAL GROUP IN AFRICA IN THE YEAR 2005".

The Kora Awards are held in high esteem and even likened to the Grammy Awards here in Africa. The open door for the Melodies to South Africa for the Kora Awards led to another level of glory which paved way for them to minister and tour many places thus raising their banner high and increasing the demand of their ministry in a distant land.

Back at home the whole nation was overjoyed by such a great achievement and everybody was encouraged by the new levels the group had set in the region & this was proven right when the group jetted in from South Africa as multitudes of people turned up in surprise of the group at the airport to embrace a job well done.

This year (2007) the group has been nominated in the "CHAT AWARDS" here in Kenya. The initials (CHAT), stand for "CHAGUO LA TEENIEZ" which is in slang language and in official English it simply means (THE CHOICE OF TEENAGERS). Hopes are high and the group is believing to mount up yet again. The main event will be held in April.
